Police were summoned by an automatic alarm to the paintball shop at about 7:30 p.m. and saw signs of a forced entry. At about 9 p.m. the same evening, police received a second alarm activation and detected another burglary. Police say a 9-year-old boy participated in both burglaries, while an 11-year-old boy took part in one.
The boys were issued appearance tickets to Family Court and released to the custody of a parent.
Had the crimes been committed by adults, the charge would have been third-degree burglary, a felony, police said.
