Authorities in Mount Vernon are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Tuesday, Feb. 4. According to the Mount Vernon Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired around 3 a.m. at 129 South 4th Ave. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the right forearm. Man Struck By Car In Westchester, Hospitalized
A man was taken to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Westchester. The crash happened on Friday, Jan. 31 at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Yonkers Avenue and Central Park Avenue in Yonkers, when an elderly man crossing the street was hit by a car after the driver failed to see him, according to Yonkers Police Sgt.
