Raymond C. Moore, 85, Of Yorktown, Ret. Draftsman, NYC R.H. Howe

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Raymond C. Moore of Yorktown died Aug. 28. He was 85.

Moore was born July 24, 1928, to John and Anna (Schloemer) in the Bronx. During World War II, he served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. Before his retirement, he worked as a draftsman for NYC R.H.Howe, in the Bronx.

Moore is survived by his siblings, Ann Jones, John Moore, Edward Moore, George Moore and Joseph Moore; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, James and Charles Moore.

Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc. 418 Route Six, Mahopac, NY 10541 (845)628-5655. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 1377 East Main St., Shrub Oak, NY 10588. Interment will be private.
