YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. - Norman E. Wright of Yorktown Heights died July 20. He was 89.
A veteran of World War II, he enlisted in the armed forced and served from 1943 to 1945 in Italy. A graduate of Seton Hall and Columbia Universities, he retired from Otis Elevator Company in 1983 as personnel supervisor.
Wright is survived by sons, John (Kathy) of Pelham, Thomas (Elizeth) of Harvest, Ala., and Steven (Beth) of Yorktown; two granddaughters. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Hennessey); and sister, Virginia Dillon-Popp.
Calling Hours are Monday, July 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The funeral service is Tuesday, July 23 at 11:15 a.m. in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak. Interment will be private.
