YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Mary Carelli, most recently of Yorktown and formerly of Valhalla, died Sept. 8. She was 84.
Carelli was born July 28, 1929, to Salvatore and Anna Sansalone in Yonkers.
Carelli is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Thomas) Lewis of Croton, Jodi (Andrew) Kraus of Northport, Mary (Richard) Foley of Mahopac and Jane (George) Gonda of Montrose; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, John Carelli.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla. Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
