He was born Dec. 8, 1920. He graduated from Yorktown High School and was in the U.S. Army from 1940-45, where he served in the 85th Fighter Squadron 79th Fighter Group.
In 1942, he married Marion Jarvis. Once out of the Army, he went to work as an iron worker.
He is survived by three children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife and a daughter.
A visitation will be conducted from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 12 at Clark Funeral Home, 2104 Saw Mill River Road, Yorktown Heights.
