Clifford Bunard, 91, Former Shrub Oak Resident

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Clifford H. Bunard, formerly of Shrub Oak, died Tuesday, March 15. He was 91.

He served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation machinist. He was employed by Metro-North for 30 years. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Richard (Robin) Bunard; daughters Loretta (Joseph) Pisano and Claudia (Bobby) Stevens; six grandchildren, Vincent Pisano, Robert, Harold and Thomas Stevens, and Patricia and Robert Davis; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia; his second wife, Katherine; a daughter, Christine Davis; and a grandson, Michael Diehl.

A service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Peach Pond Cemetery, Route 121, North Salem. Arrangements are entrusted to Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home.
