ORANGEBURG, N.Y. — Bonifacio B. "Pat" Brillantes Jr., died Friday, June 3. He was 79.
Born in Manila, Philippines, he graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Brillantes obtained his professional engineering license in 1981 and practiced as an environmental engineering consultant until his retirement.
Brillantes is survived by his wife, Farida (Beluang); his four children, Irene, Patrick, Anne-Marie and Bonifacio III; and his four grandchildren, Emily, Adrian, Olivia and Elizabeth. He also is survived by two of three sisters, Milagros and Lourdes.
Services will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway, Nyack.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine’s Church, 523 Western Hwy S., Blauvelt.
