YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- An underage Yorktown resident has been arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol level greater than .08, and for driving without a license.
The 18-year-old whos name is being withheld due to his eligibility for youthful offender status after police responded to a report of an auto accident with property damage on July 9 at 1:39 a.m. According to police, an investigation revealed that the youth was allegedly intoxicated, passed a red light and did not have a drivers license.
He was arrested and taken to Yorktown Police Department headquarters where a breath test revealed his .08 BAC. He was released to a third party and due to appear in Yorktown Court on August 9.
