Yorktown Man Faces Felony Charge for Puncturing Neighbor's Tire

YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- Yorktown Police arrested a 53-year-old Yorktown resident after he allegedly punctured the tire of his neighbor’s car.

Douglas Marinelli, of 45 Forest Ct. was charged with criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, a felony, for allegedly puncturing the tire and causing damage in excess of $250. Police responded to a report of vandalism to a resident’s car on Sycamore Lane on August 31. Marinelli was arrested on September 1 after police investigation.

He was released on $200 cash bail.

A 51-year-old female from Cortlandt Manor was arrested for allegedly removing merchandise in total value of $65 from a display in Macy’s and exiting the store without paying. The woman, Nohora Valencia was arrested for petty larceny and released without bail and scheduled to appear in court on September 27 at 6 p.m.
