YORKTOWN, NY-- A Sears employee was arrested for grand larceny after he allegedly stole cash from the department store.
Police arrested Devaughn K. Cleveland Jr., 18, from Garrison, after he allegedly stole a total of $1,805 in cash on nine separate occasions between July 19 and August 5.
Cleveland was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting $100 bail. He is due to appear in court on October 4 at 6 p.m.

- A female from Putnam Valley was arrested after she allegedly assaulted a woman in the parking lot of the Yorktown Police Department. Marlene Rodriguez, 39, has been charged with harassment, a violation, after she harassed a woman while she and her estranged husband exchanged their children at the police department. Police followed up on the complaint made by the victim on August 3, and police requested a criminal summons from Yorktown Court. Upon learning of the summons, Rodriguez responded to the police department on September 5 at 4 p.m. She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court on September 15 at 6 p.m.
- A Peekskill resident faces four traffic infractions, and three misdemeanor charges after he was stopped by police in a traffic stop on Mill Street. The driver, Marcus Shelton, 32, was charged with having a suspended registration and unlicensed operation, criminal possession of stolen property, speeding, improper (switched plates), unregistered vehicle and uninsured vehicle. Police found the registration sticker on the car did not match the license plates on the car, the vehicles registration was suspended, the drivers license was suspended for multiple reasons, and the license plates were recently stolen from a car at the Jefferson Valley Mall. The vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. Shelton is due to appear in court on September 20 at 6 p.m.
