YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Town officials said its time to fill a large hole in the middle of the Roma Building parking lot, caused by the removal of gas tanks more than two years ago, according to Yorktown News.
Councilman Tom Diana told the Yorktown News that site was becoming a health hazard and a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Located at the site of a former gas station on Saw Mill River Road, the hole was created when it was discovered that the gas pumps had developed a leak, according to Yorktown News.
