Yorktown Heights Pet Owners Searching For Missing Cat

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. –The grandson of a woman whose cat went missing last week when she was hospitalized for a medical issue is asking for the public’s help in finding the animal.

Tiki, a missing cat, has been missing from her Yorktown Heights home since Aug. 31.

Tiki, a 9-year-old female cat, has sleek white fur and was last seen in the area of Crompond and Hallocks Mill roads on Wednesday evening, Aug. 31, according to the family.

The family says they’ve checked with local animal shelters, posted fliers and taken to Facebook in the hopes of finding the animal, but have received no leads.

Tiki is said to be friendly and will answer to her name.
