YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- The Burger King at 385 Downing Drive in Yorktown Heights is supporting cancer research and care by participating in the A Chance for Kids and Families program through Sept. 6.
“Cancer has touched so many lives. The work being done at Dana-Farber (Cancer Institute in Boston, Mass.) is helping to rid this devastating disease from the world,” said Jim Froio, Burger King franchisee. “The Burker King franchise community, our employees, and vendor partners are proud to help this effort through A Chance for Kids & Families.”
The program raises money for the Jimmy Fund, which supports the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Patrons can contribute $1 to the Jimmy Fund and receive a promotion card with prizes such as an all inclusive trip and a Sea-Doo personal watercraft.
