Yorktown Firefighters Honor, Pray, Remember

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Volunteer Firefighters paused Sunday morning to remember those who perished, and those who made the decision to save others before themselves—decisions these volunteers are met with every day.

Dozens of firefighters, former chiefs and residents prayed and remembered the victims of 9/11 outside their memorial on Commerce St. at approximately 8:46 a.m. Sunday.
