Water Main Break Leads To Service Interruption in Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Water service may be temporarily interrupted in Yorktown following a water main break that requires repair.

Yorktown police said that there has been a water main break on Edgewood Street and Montross Road, potentially leading to discolored water or intermittent service while the Water Department works on repairs.

Police said that water service will be restored as soon as possible. Anyone that experiences discolored water or air in the pipes should run cold water until the situation clears. Anyone who continues to experience issues can contact the Water Department directly by calling (914) 245-6111.
