YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- In two separate arrests made by New York State Police over the holiday weekend, two Yorktown residents were charged with driving while intoxicated.
Richard J. Palmeri, 25, was arrested at 3:00 a.m. Sunday after a traffic stop for speeding. He was charged and arrested with driving while intoxicated after testing.16 percent blood alcohol level, twice the legal limit.
Robert C. Senator, 38, was arrested for driving while intoxicated during a fixed DWI sobriety enforcement detail on the Taconic State Parkway Saturday.
During a traffic stop detail on July 2 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. four child restraint tickets and two tickets for other vehicle and traffic law violations were issued.
