Sex Offender Reports Move To Yorktown

A registered sex offender convicted of possessing child pornography has reported a move in Westchester County.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to residents in Westchester regarding the residency of 48-year-old Henry Steeneck, who has reported a move to Chase Road in Yorktown Heights.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Steeneck as a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Steeneck was caught with child porn in July 2007, and hew as convicted of possession of child pornography in June 2012, at which point he was sentenced to five years probation. He was arrested by FBI in Albany and is now under the jurisdiction of the Yorktown Town Police Department.
