Morning Accidents Tie Up Traffic On I-684, Bear Mountain Parkway

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An accident on southbound I-684 resulted in stop-and-go traffic Tuesday morning on the Westchester-Putnam border.

The accident, between I-84 (Exit 9) and Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8), was reported at 8:40 a.m.

A multi-vehicle accident resulted in the closure of one lane on the westbound Bear Mountain State Parkway in Yorktown earlier in the morning.

The accident occurred at 7:45 a.m.
