YORKTOWN, N.Y. A difference of seven votes in the Yorktown Heights Fire District Commisioner's election separated winner and current commissioner Louis Mastro from former fire chief Martin McGannon.
According to Yorktown Heights Engine Company #1 secretary Jeanmarie Klaus, 399 residents voted in Tuesday's election between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. Klaus said 203 of those votes were cast for Mastro, 196 for McGannon.
