Mahopac Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving

YORKTOWN, NY-- A 22-year-old Mahopac woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Yorktown last week. Police arrested Caitlin Donovan, of 4 Marina Drive, after they received an anonymous complaint describing a vehicle operating in a hazardous fashion on the Taconic, and exiting on Route 132. Police located the vehicle, being operated by Donovan at a high rate of speed on Route 132. Police arrested Donovan at the scene for driving while intoxicated.

At police headquarters, she tested for having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. She faces the charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while having a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or more, and speed unreasonable in Yorktown Justice Court on October 13 at 6 p.m.

-       Police arrested 29-year-old Joseph N. Pusateri of Peekskill after he allegedly exited Sears without paying for a wrist watch valued at $29.99 on September 15. He was arrested for petit larceny, released on $100 bail and is due to appear on Yorktown Court on October 18.

-       A 48-year-old man from Cortlandt was arrested in Yorktown for five traffic violations and one vehicle/traffic misdemeanor. Jeffrey S. Gonnella of 3975 Crompond Rd. allegedly operated a vehicle without a front license plate, with a suspended driver’s license, drove an unregistered, uninsured, uninspected vehicle and had improper plates. He was arrested and issued a traffic summons for the charges. He was released on $250 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on October 18.

-       A Mahopac man was arrested after he allegedly drove a vehicle with insufficient tail lamps, wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and drove the vehicle with a suspended license. Police arrested Timothy Mallon, 52, of 47 Kayla Lane. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on October 13.
