Head Of Yoga Empire With Yorktown Location Faces Rape Allegation

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The man at the head of the Bikram Yoga empire, which has locations in Yorktown and Scarsdale, is facing several civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault or rape, according to The New York Times. 

The latest allegation against Bikram Choudhury was filed on Feb. 13, by a Canadian yogi who claimed Choudhury raped her in 2010, The Times reported. 

Though Choudhury denies the claims, the pending lawsuits could prove to be a dark cloud on his growing empire, The Times said.
