Girl Scout Troop 2923 has collected 300 cans of tuna fish to act as a weight for the luminarias at the Yorktown Relay for Life to take place this Friday into Saturday.
The luminarias mark a memorable part of the Relay for Life ceremony, where candles are placed inside bags that have a name of a loved one written on it to remember those who have suffered or are suffering from cancer.
Once Relay for Life is completed, the tuna will be donated to a local food pantry.
