Stoney Street is closed between Winding Court and Deer Street with one tree down and Route 129 (Croton Lake Road) is closed between Underhill Avenue and Hunterbrook Road due to multiple trees down, police said.

There were power outages reported earlier Monday and both NYSEG and Con Edison are out addressing those outages.

A High Wind Warning in effect until 6 p.m. Monday.

Yorktown Police advise any motorists who have to be on the road to use caution, noting that even if a large tree is not down blocking the roadway there might be branches that cause a hazard.
