Reverend David Dockweiler has taken over as pastor at the church, at 2405 Crompond Road. Dockweiler was previously a pastor in Michigan.
Dockweiller started in youth ministry. His first job was as a Youth Minister in Ohio. He had participated in nearly 20 mission trips, including leading intergenerational international mission trips to Guatemala.
“I look forward to working with the Saint Andrew’s congregation and I hope to unite and include all ages in fellowship and mission," Dockweiller said. "I can’t wait for them to meet everyone and to become a part of the Yorktown community.”
Dockweiller, who attended seminary school in California, has two masters degrees.
