Yorktown Business, Organization of 2012 Announced

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Chamber of Commerce announced the Business Person of the Year and Organization of the Year for 2012 this week.

Anna Freyer of Freyers Florist was given the award for business person, and Support Connection was named organization of the year.

An annual dinner dance held in the early months of 2012 will celebrate the award recipients. The dinner dance, a night which recognizes people in the community who have made outstanding contributions to the community, will also honor the recipient of the John W. Chase Award and the Chairman’s Award that night.

"It is our pleasure to recognize people and organizations that have contributed to the quality of life in our community and to celebrate their achievements. The Chamber will announce the date and location later on in the year,” said Yorktown Chamber President Joseph Visconti.
