This month's "Museum After Dark" program, "YOU HAVE NO IDEA! How To Be More Creative and Go From No Idea To Great Ideas" is led by illustrator and teacher Sean Kelly.
He began offering creativity seminars in 2003, with an emphasis on methods of thinking, problem solving and idea development.
“Creativity is not just for artists, and it’s not merely a talent some are born with," Kelly said. "Creativity, is a skill, which can be developed, practiced and improved.”
Kelly will help participants learn strategies that can be implemented to improve their work, art or their life broadly.
Kelly is known for his humor-based art column "Metropolitan Diary," in The New York Times and has had his work featured in The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and Boston Globe.
The event is free for museum members and $5 for non-members.
There will be a wine-and-cheese reception from 6-6:30 p.m., with the presentation beginning at 6:45 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m.
