Yorktown Rotary to Hold Fundraising Tournament

YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- This weekend marks the 49th year the Yorktown Rotary club has invited residents in the community to take their best shot at their annual Hole-In-One event.

The event, which is the biggest fundraiser the rotary holds each year offers a $1,000 grand prize to the individual who can get a hole-in-one at their course set up at Downing Park. In the event more than one lucky individual gets a hole-in-one, the prize will be divided between the winners.

The tournament is two days, and goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, a Classic Car Show will also be presented by Dennis Tate of Cars & Us.

All donations from the event go directly to the Yorktown Rotary’s Project Funds, which funds projects such as their Tornado Relief projects and Wheelchair and Holiday Angel Programs.
