Monday, Oct. 8

Columbus Day: All schools and town offices will be closed for the holiday.

Harrison Apar YAC Columbus Day Golf Classic: 7:30 a.m. The charity golf tournament returns to Mohansic Golf Course. Former Yankee Tommy John and Former Met Howard Johnson will be in attendance. Tuesday, Oct. 9

SEPTA Meet and Greet: 7 p.m. Meet up with other SEPTA members over coffee at Panera Bread in the Triangle Center. There will be an informal meeting to introduce new members to SEPTA followed by a casual gathering where parents can network and share information and concerns.

Yorktown Town Board work session: 7:30 p.m. Yorktown Town Hall, 363 Underhill Ave.

ABACA: 8 p.m. Advisory Board on Architecture & Community Appearance meeting. YCCC Room 209, second floor. 1974 Commerce St.
