What To Do In Yorktown This Weekend

Saturday, Oct. 27

Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Yorktown Farmers Market is every Saturday until Oct. 27. Veterans Road behind the Yorktown Fire Department.

Halloween Parade/Carnival: 2 p.m. The annual Halloween Parade & Carnival will start at Rexall Drug store. The parade will finish at the Jack DeVito Gazebo, where kids will be able to show off their costumes. A carnival will follow at the YCCC with free games, prizes and more. No registration is required. In the event of rain an announcement will be on the Recreation Hotline 914-245-4650 ext. 50.

Penny Social Yorktown Engine Co. No. 1 Women’s Auxiliary: 6:15 p.m. Admission of $5 includes 100 raffle tickets and coffee or tea. Hot dogs, bottled water and ice tea will be available for purchase. 1916 Commerce St.

Sunday, Oct. 28

Yorktown Flea Market: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Antiques and collectibles will be on sale. Veterans Road behind the Yorktown Fire Department.

Library Theater: Love, Loss and What I Wore: 2 p.m. M&M Productions with perform the play, "Love, Loss, and What I Wore." No registration is required for the free event. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. 1130 E. Main St.
