Hilltop Hanover Farm, 1271 Hanover St. in Yorktown Heights, is hosting a jam-making workshop Saturday. Kelly Geary, the chef and creator of Sweet Deliverance NYC, will lead a workshop on how to make strawberry-rhubarb jam.
Geary has been cooking for 16 years and is a graduate of Manhattan’s Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, and has worked at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Manhattan’s Little Giant, as well as other establishments in Florida and California. At Sweet Deliverance, she prepares seasonal American cuisine.
The workshop is from 2 to 4 p.m. Registration is required; fee is $25 per person, $10 for children ages 8-12.
