Yorktown's Support Connection To Present 'Comedy For A Cause'

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown's Support Connection is set for its "Comedy For A Cause" on Friday, Nov. 15.

Support Connection is joining with the Barbara E. Giordano Women’s Health & Education Foundation for the benefit event at 7 p.m. at Travelers Rest at 25 Saw Mill River Road in Ossining, according to a press release. Comedian John Iavarone will headline the evening.

Iavarone has performed at numerous venues including Empire Casino, Laugh Lounge, Mohegan Sun, Governors, Dangerfields, Comic Strip Live, Carolines, Stand-Up NY, Wisecrackers, The Brokerage, Treehouse Comedy, Bananas, Ehrhardt's Poconos, HA!, McGuire's and Coastal Entertainment, according to the release. Comedian “Crazy” Gene Trifilo will also be featured during the evening, according to the release. 

Proceeds for the comedy night will benefit Support Connection’s free breast and ovarian cancer support services and the Barbara E. Giordano Women’s Health & Education Foundation’s Annual Day of Healing and wellness programs, according to the release. 

Tickets are $50 per person, which includes dinner, soft drinks, coffee and the show, according to the release. Reservations for the evening are required.
