ID Released For Person Killed In Yonkers Apartment Fire Police have released the identity of a man killed during a large blaze at a seven-story, 95-unit housing cooperative in Westchester that also injured numerous residents and first responders. The incident took place in Yonkers around 1 a.m., Wednesday at 671 Bronx River Road. New Details Released After Westchester Crash That Killed Sergeant, 53, Due To Retire In Months New details have been released after a longtime police officer and Hudson Valley resident was killed in a multi-vehicle Westchester crash. Yonkers Police Department Sgt. Frank Gualdino, a resident of Putnam County who lived in Mahopac, age 53, was due to retire in nine months. He leaves behind a wife and two children, ages 14 and 20. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, in Yonkers.
