Busy Yonkers Roadway Closed As Crews Remove Downed Tree
A busy Yonkers roadway will be closed for several hours on Thursday as crews continue efforts to remove a tree from the area following Wednesday’s latest batch of winter weather in Westchester. The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert warning motorists to avoid Midland Avenue between Central Park Avenue and Kimball Avenue due to a downed tree near the intersection of Wrexham Road.
