Roadway Down To One Lane Due To Crash In Westchester A major roadway in Northern Westchester is down to one lane due to a single-vehicle crash that involved a utility pole. The crash, at 538 Millwood Road, in New Castle, took place around 11:06 a.m., Tuesday, May 11, has closed one lane of the roadway, said the New Castle Police. The lane of Milwood Road is closed between Hogh Meadow Road and Longview Lane in order for Con Ed workers to repair or replace the utility police, police said. Motorists are asked to avoid the area or to use caution as flaggers are in the area. No information was available regarding injuries or power outages. …

Driver Leaves Scene After Boat Crashes Into Utility Pole In Westchester, Police Say A dump your boat and run crash closed Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley for several hours. The crash took place around 7:48 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, when a boat being towed by a U-Haul box truck broke loose and smashed into a utility pole, said Ardsley Police Lt. Carl Calabrese. The driver left the scene, but witnesses were able to tell police that the boat was being towed by the U-Haul truck, Calabrese said. The driver, or the truck, has not been located, yet, he added. The crash took place around 2:32 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26, when a 2008 Nissan Altima struck two utility poles on Canal Street, just north of Ludlow Street, leaving two teens dead, and four others injured, said Stamford Police Sgt. Jeffrey Booth. According to Booth, Kymoni Pollock, 19, died at the scene, and NiShawn Tolliver, 18, died at the hospital.
