Tarrytown School Employee Pleads Guilty To Stealing Thousands From District The longtime Tarrytown Union Free School District secretary and Putnam County resident accused of stealing more than $10,000 from her employer has pleaded guilty to a corruption charge. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Thursday that Lake Peekskill resident Carol Ressa, 53, has pleaded guilty to a felony count of third-degree grand larceny as a public corruption crime.
