Nearly two dozen drivers were busted by New York State Police officers for alleged impaired driving on area roadways this past week.

On Friday, July 12, State Police from Brewster arrested Ismael Martinez Trinidad, 29, of North Salem, for DWI. He was traveling on Tonetta Lake Road in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley removed 18 allegedly impaired drivers from the roadway during the holiday weekend.

On Friday, April 19, State Police troopers from Wappinger arrested Robert J. Fluri, 55, of Fishkill, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Wappinger, when he was stopped for an interview regarding his role in a dispute in the Viscount parking lot. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
