A Westchester native has been identified as the survivor of an extremely rare and much-publicized fatal cougar attack that occurred last week in the Cascade Mountains near Seattle. Amazon has revealed the number of jobs it expects to add and the average annual salary at its new second headquarters after announcing 20 finalists, including New York City, for the new location Thursday morning.Amazon said it expects to invest more than $5 billion in construction and grow this second headquarters to include as many as 50,000 high-paying jobs with an average salary of $100,000. Man Who Groped Girl On Newark Flight Gets 90 Days In Fed Pen
An Indian national who admitted that he groped a teenage girl on a flight to Newark from Seattle was sentenced Friday to 90 days in federal prison. Vijaykumar Krishnappa, 29, got the maximum Friday after pleading guilty in early November to assault in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States in exchange for a sentence of 30 to 90 days.
