Two Busted After Crashing While Stealing Car In Westchester, Police Say
A pair of would-be car thieves didn’t make it far after crashing a stolen vehicle shortly after leaving a Westchester driveway. Officers from the New Rochelle Police Department responded to Davis Avenue at approximately 4 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, where there was a report of a one-vehicle crash where the driver struck a utility pole. Upon arrival at the crash scene, New Rochelle Police Capt. SUV Crashes Into Parking Garage Wall, Injuring Five At Cross County Mall
An SUV crashed into a parking garage wall, temporarily shutting down a bulk of the parking garage and hospitalizing five at the Mall at Cross County in Yonkers. Shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, a Nissan Pathfinder struck a boundary wall head-on in the garage, officials said. Five people were injured in the crash - including one in critical condition - who were all taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx for treatment. Fire Risk Leads To Recall Of More Than 200K Nissan Cars, SUVs
Nissan is recalling more than 200,00 vehicles that could get a little too hot to handle. Nissan announced the recall of 215,000 vehicles that may have anti-lock brake problems that may prompt actuator pumps to leak brake fluid onto internal circuit boards, causing fires. The recall is similar to one in 2016. The recall comes after Nissan received a complaint in January about an illuminated ABS warning light in a car that had been repaired during the 2016 recall.
