ID Released For Man Killed When Car Leaves Road, Hits Tree In Hudson Valley Officials have released the identification of the man who died in a fatal crash in the area on Tuesday. Adrian Mayo, 35, of Waterbury, was killed after he lost control of his car around 9 a.m. on Shunpike Road near Kennels Road in town of Washington, said Capt. John Watterson with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. After losing control, the vehicle crossed over the center pavement markings and struck a tree on the northern shoulder. Mayo, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Watterson said. Police said unsafe speed seemed to be the primary factor in the crash. …
