9 Ducklings Rescued From Catch Basin In Yonkers When several neighbors heard faint quacking coming from a catch basin in Westchester, three public works employees sprang into action to reunite the nine stuck ducklings with their mother.  The rescue happened in the Crestwood neighborhood of Yonkers, where several residents discovered that the ducklings were trapped on Scarsdale Road at Lindbergh Place after hearing their little quacks, Yonkers city officials said on Tuesday, May 2.  Several members of the Yonkers Department of Public Works then came to the rescue and removed the grate.  After this, they then climbed down to the bottom o…
