Armed Teen Apprehended For Yonkers Carjacking ID'd Police have identified one of two men involved in an alleged armed carjacking of a taxi driver in Westchester County who was apprehended in Cortlandt. The incident took place around 3:13 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, when the Yonkers Police Department responded to the area of Elm Street and Walnut Street on a report of a robbery, said Yonkers Police Det. Lt. Dean Politopoulos. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 39-year-old female resident of Yonkers, who said that she was working as a taxi driver when she was approached by two armed men who stole her taxi, Politopoulos said. …

Teen Charged In Fatal Westchester Stabbing A teenager in Westchester resident is facing a murder charge for allegedly fatally stabbing 21-year-old Ossining High School graduate Greg Jackson, Jr. in the chest with a steak knife last month. The Ossining Police Department announced that local resident Andrew Knight was arrested on Thursday night in connection to the stabbing of Jackson, who was found with a stab wound on James Street on Jan. 28.
