Officers had to apply a tourniquet to an injured 14-year-old after two suspects approached a crowd in Westchester and fired several shots into it, police said. The incident happened in Yonkers on Friday, April 28 around 8:30 p.m., when officers responded to the area of 40 Cliff St. for a reported shooting incident, according to Yonkers Police. Police are searching for a suspect that shot and critically injured a 33-year-old man in Westchester County. A suspect has been taken into custody nearly a year to the day after a fatal shooting in Westchester. At about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, members of the Yonkers Police Department responded to the area of Lawrence Street on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim inside the lobby of 19 Lawrence St. with a gunshot wound to his torso, Yonkers Police said.
