The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert noting that the left lane of Central Park Avenue between Mile Square Road and the Cross County Parkway will be closed beginning this week as contracting crews continue utility service repair operations. The project is estimated to last for 24 hours a day, up to six or eight weeks. During the scope of the project, motorists can expect longterm delays and should seek alternate routes, police said.
