Coyote Warnings Issued As Weather Warms Up, Sightings Start Up Again
With the weather warming up, local law enforcement agencies are warning area residents to be aware of the possibility of coyote sightings. Police in the area noted that “during this time of year, we tend to have an increase in coyote sightings. From March to May, coyotes typically have their pups and begin to look for more food. Atka, White Arctic Wolf At Westchester Conservation Center, Dies At 16
The staple at the Wolf Conservation Center in Northern Westchester died in his sleep over the weekend at 16 years old. Surrounded by his family at the South Salem facility, Atka died quickly and painlessly overnight on Saturday, Sept. 22.
