Aeon Robitaille has been named a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program, making her one of just 16,000 students nationwide, out of 1.5 million entrants, to receive the honor.

Paul Revelo was named a College Board 2013-2014 National Hispanic Recognition Program scholar, making him one of just 5,300 recipients selected from a national pool of 259,000 Hispanic/Latino qualifiers who took the PSAT.

“Throughout the district, we continue to introduce programs and strategies to enhance college readiness, and this external measure of Aeon's and Paul’s achievement levels demonstrates that they are among the best prepared for college in the nation,” Superintendent Bernard Pierorazio said in a statement.
