YHS was ranked 18th in the state, good for third-best in Westchester County.
Yonkers' student population of 1,170 met or exceeded the state average in all of the surveys major metrics, which included: College readiness, mathematics proficiency and English proficiency. The school also participates in the International Baccalaureate program.
