The two groups are scheduled to kick off the show at 2 p.m. at the YMCA on 17 Riverdale Avenue in Yonkers, according to a press release. The event promises to feature representatives from several high school equivalency preparation programs and testing sites, including Yonkers Public Schools’ Pathways to Success, Southern Westchester BOCES, and Mount Vernon Public Schools’ Adult Education Annex, according to the release.
The programs "will provide community residents with vital information about the new high school equivalency exam, the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), that will be launched in January," according to the release.
The Educational Opportunity Center of Westchester is a division of Westchester Community College in White Plains.
No registration is necessary and the Fair has been endorsed by numerous New York State, Westchester County and local legislators, according to the release.
