YONKERS, N.Y. -- The second burglary in a week has been reported in the Cedar Knolls area of the First Precinct, according to a Yonkers police report.

A resident on Millard Avenue reported that sometime between 10 PM on Monday, March 17 and the early morning of Tuesday, March 18, someone entered his home through a rear door, removed some valuables and left. 

A similar incident was reported on Birch Brook Road one week ago. 

Residents are encouraged to set their alarms before retiring for the evening and report any unusual activity immediately. If anyone has any information regarding these events, please contact the Yonkers Police Detective Division at (914) 377-7724.
