The mortally wounded victim, identified by police as Elias Flores, was left by an unknown person at St. Joseph’s Medical Center's emergency room and died shortly afterwards.
Police said the hospital called them around 7:29 p.m.
The shooting may have occurred in the city’s Nodine Hill neighborhood, police said.
Detectives are actively investigating Flores' death as a homicide..
